The product is exactly as described and very easy to carry. I have compared it with other similar devices and they are almost identical, differing only by a small margin.
Top value for the price, the iOLA changes lives
Received a month ago and already well reimbursed. The iOLA option is really great: it avoids getting confused with complex curves, and you can directly see where the welds or defects are with the diagram.
The laser (VFL) is powerful, enough to see the fibers that are stuck in the splicing cassettes (see my photos). For the OPM, I had a small deviation of 1 dB at the beginning, but since it's adjustable in the settings (offset), it can be recalibrated without any problem to get it just right.
Compact device, long-lasting battery, and USB-C charging – it's perfect for your bag. Nothing to complain about, it does the job for the price.
I really liked it, it exceeded my expectations. I thought it wouldn't be able to perform very short measurements, but I was able to detect a break at 52m. I've only had it for a few days, but it's already been very useful and has greatly improved the service. I recommend buying it.
